LG Election: Avoseh Concludes Tour of 10 Wards In Badagry, Reiterates Community-Oriented Leadership If Elected Chairman

As the race for the chairmanship of Badagry Local Government gathers momentum, Hon. H.S. Avoseh has rounded off a comprehensive tour of all 10 wards in the area, reinforcing his commitment to a community-oriented leadership style if elected.

The consultative tour, which began on Saturday, 5th April, took Hon. Avoseh across the length and breadth of Badagry, engaging directly with Ward Executive Committees in Wards G, J, C, D, B, and A, before concluding with visits to Wards E, F, H, and I.

Throughout the tour, Avoseh reiterated his vision for a people-first administration anchored on Ward-Based Governance — a model he described as essential for deepening grassroots participation and accelerating local development. He emphasized that decisions should reflect the needs of the people and be driven from the ward level upward.

Drawing from his legislative experience as a former member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Avoseh cited key developmental strides he championed in the past, including youth empowerment initiatives, employment facilitation, and skill acquisition programmes that benefitted residents across Badagry.

"I am committed to a leadership that listens, engages, and acts in the interest of every community," he declared, urging ward leaders to rally behind his aspiration to become the next Executive Chairman.

The reception in each ward was notably warm, with several executives expressing optimism in Avoseh's ability to deliver purposeful and inclusive governance. As the local government election approaches, his message of community-driven leadership continues to resonate with stakeholders across the constituency.
