The announcement was made by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, during a convocation press conference held at around 10:55 a.m. at the Senate Chambers, LASU Senate Building, Main Campus, Ojo, Lagos.
During her address, Professor Olatunji-Bello revealed that a total of 8,711 students were graduating with first-degree programmes from the institution. Out of this number, 192 earned First Class Honours, 17 obtained Unclassified (MBBS/BDS) Degrees, 3,076 graduated with Second Class Upper Division, 4,397 with Second Class Lower Division, 990 with Third Class, and 39 with a Pass.
“I am delighted to announce Nwosu Isioma Sybil as our overall best graduating student,” the Vice-Chancellor stated, praising the exceptional academic performance that led to the recognition.
The convocation ceremony marks a significant milestone for the graduates, their families, and the institution as it continues to uphold its reputation for academic excellence.
