ENIAIYEJUNI O.O., Acting DG ASCON Badagry

Mr. B.O. Eniaiyejuni is a seasoned public administrator, management consultant, researcher, and capacity development expert, currently serving as the Acting Director-General of the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON). He assumed office on April 10, 2025, following the retirement of his predecessor, Mrs. Cecilia Umaru Gayya. His appointment was formally ratified by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack.

With over 40 years of exemplary service in Nigeria’s public sector, Mr. Eniaiyejuni has built a reputation for excellence in management development, institutional strengthening, and human resource optimization. He holds a Master’s degree from the University of Lagos, Akoka-Yaba, and has consistently demonstrated a deep commitment to administrative reform and capacity building.

Mr. Eniaiyejuni began his illustrious career at ASCON in 2002 as Personal Assistant to the Director-General. Over the years, he has held numerous strategic positions, including Head of Curriculum Development and Training, Head of the SERVICOM Institute (2008–2009), and Director of Procurement (2011–2019). He currently heads the Management Studies Department and has, since 2010, served as a Director of Studies, where he continues to shape the training of public servants across all tiers of government.

An influential voice in policy formulation and human resource standardization, Mr. Eniaiyejuni is an active member of Nigeria’s National Technical Committee/National Mirror Committee on the Standardization of Human Resource Management (HRM). His technical expertise has been leveraged on multiple internationally funded projects sponsored by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Department for International Development (DFID), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and the World Bank.

He is a prolific writer and thought leader, having authored two books and several peer-reviewed journal articles on management, leadership, and public administration. His intellectual contributions have been featured at various national and international conferences, further cementing his standing as a thought leader in his field.

Mr. Eniaiyejuni is a respected member of several professional organizations, including the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITAD), and the Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria (IMCON).

With a career marked by visionary leadership, professional integrity, and an unwavering commitment to institutional excellence, Mr. O.O. Eniaiyejuni continues to play a transformative role in the evolution of public administration and management development in Nigeria.
