Highlighting the significance of the outreach, Mr. Ogunlende emphasized that this round of distributions prioritized informal youth groups and private orphanages that had not previously benefited from similar initiatives. This strategic approach underscores the government’s commitment to ensuring no one is left behind.
"This distribution is a testament to our administration’s dedication to promoting inclusion and leaving no one behind. It is a reminder to our people that we see you, we hear you, and we care for you. By providing essential support, we aim to make a tangible difference in the lives of our youth and vulnerable populations," Mr. Ogunlende said in a statement shared via his official Facebook page.
The Commissioner further reiterated that the effort aligns with Governor Sanwo-Olu’s vision of a compassionate and inclusive governance framework, particularly under initiatives focused on youth development and community welfare.
The Lagos State Ministry of Youth remains committed to addressing the needs of both formal and informal youth groups while fostering partnerships that improve the quality of life for all residents. Today’s outreach serves as yet another step in empowering Lagosians, particularly the most underserved, and ensuring sustainable progress across the state.
