Zenco, known for his investments in real estate, telecommunications, mining, and trade, has reportedly imported a state-of-the-art tent from Israel worth over ₦560 million. While some sources speculated the tent cost ₦350 million, insiders confirmed the figure exceeds that amount. Installation of the tent, which began on December 15, 2024, is ongoing and has become a marvel for onlookers.
The burial arrangements, spearheaded by Nigeria’s leading funeral brand, Apams, include a custom-designed silver casket, a newly imported white Rolls Royce carriage, and luxurious hearses, estimated to cost an additional ₦500 million. With these elaborate plans and other ancillary services, the total cost of the burial could exceed ₦5 billion.
As the burial date draws near, the week-long event promises to be a shutdown of Ukpor and its environs. The ceremony is expected to attract a slew of A-list Nigerian celebrities, including Davido, Flavour, and Mr. Macaroni. The community is brimming with anticipation as preparations continue.
Adding to the spectacle, prominent socialite Cubana Chief Priest has donated 47 cows to support the burial, surpassing the 46 cows he famously gifted Obi Cubana during his mother’s burial in Oba.
The burial of Mrs. Margaret Oragwa is already making headlines as one of the most extravagant events ever witnessed in Anambra State, further cementing Zenco’s reputation as a leading figure in Nigeria’s business and social circles.
