Vandan reportedly announced her controversial plan on January 14, 2025, via social media, stating her intention to film and broadcast the event in an attempt to set a Turkish and global record. Her post included a photo of herself in red lingerie with the caption: “My goal is to break a Turkish record first, then a world record! I’m starting with 100 men in 24 hours.”
The Istanbul Security Branch Directorate’s Morality Bureau launched an investigation after the post gained widespread attention. Vandan was apprehended at a hospital in Ataşehir, where she was awaiting a cosmetic surgery procedure.
Footage shows two female officers escorting Vandan, who was handcuffed and dressed in a crop top and jeans, into a police van. Reports indicate she was taken to a local station for questioning.
During her arrest, Vandan allegedly shared a provocative image of herself, claiming it was taken by a police officer. She posted the image with the caption: “I had the photo taken by one of the officers; he didn’t object much.”
Vandan, along with her husband, Pedram Behdar Vandan, 23, was detained. While her husband was later released, the model faces charges of obscenity, resisting an officer, and slander.
The Istanbul 6th Criminal Judgeship of Peace ruled that Vandan’s actions and posts were harmful to societal moral values and provocative in nature, justifying the decision to impose prison time.
The model has defended her actions, stating that she is not harming anyone and should be free to post and act as she wishes. “I do not deserve to be judged,” she argued during her hearing.
This incident comes just days after reports of a British woman, Bonnie Blue, allegedly breaking the world record for the most men bedded in 24 hours, claiming to have slept with over 1,000 men in 12 hours.
