The programme, facilitated by the Ministry of Tertiary Education, is scheduled to run from June 20 to June 24, 2025, at the Public Library in Badagry and Yaba. It aims to empower participants with training in digital literacy, entrepreneurship, emotional intelligence, and artificial intelligence, among other areas.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Tolani Sule, reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to fostering excellence in education and skills development.
“The Eko Digital Training Programme is a reflection of our resolve to equip the youth with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in a competitive global environment,” Sule said.
He added that the Badagry and Yaba training centres would provide participants with access to modern facilities, expert instructors, and a conducive learning environment, ensuring they gain practical knowledge to thrive in today’s fast-paced world.
The Lagos State Government emphasized that investing in education and skills development is key to building a prosperous economy and enhancing the quality of life for residents.
The ministry encouraged youths in Badagry and Yaba to take full advantage of the free programme and courses offered, describing it as a golden opportunity for personal and professional growth.
