In a bid to address critical healthcare and security challenges in Badagry Federal Constituency, Hon. Sesi Oluwaseun Whingan, Member of the House of Representatives, paid a working visit to the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa (OFR), in Abuja.  

Accompanied by Hon. Olamijuwonlo Akala and Hon. Toyin Fayinka, Hon. Whingan used the meeting to spotlight the condition of the Nigeria Airforce Mother and Child Hospital in Ahanve, Badagry West, a vital facility serving both military personnel and the civilian population.  

During the meeting, Hon. Whingan emphasized the hospital's significance in providing essential healthcare services, while highlighting the urgent need for improved infrastructure and capacity to meet the growing demands of the community.  

“The well-being of the people of Badagry remains my priority, and I will continue to advocate for projects that improve their quality of life,” he said, reiterating his commitment to healthcare development in the constituency.  

In response, General Musa commended Hon. Whingan for his dedication to the welfare of his constituents and assured him of the military’s readiness to collaborate with relevant stakeholders to enhance healthcare and security infrastructure in the region.  

This visit marks another proactive step by Hon. Whingan in advocating for improved services and infrastructure to benefit his constituents, reflecting his unwavering commitment to their welfare and development.  

As the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream), Hon. Whingan has consistently prioritized initiatives aimed at improving living standards and fostering development in Badagry Federal Constituency.
