Recovered items included small caskets, monkey skulls, carved skeletons, photographs—some of which were of children—spiritual books, and other ritual paraphernalia. The items were reportedly found within the premises of the pastors' churches, God’s Deliverance Apostolic Church and Power House of Glory International Gospel Church, both situated along Eneka Road, Rumunduru.
The pastors were handed over to the police by concerned community members. At a press briefing in Port Harcourt, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed the arrests and the seizure of the items. She assured the public that investigations are underway to unravel the scope of the pastors' alleged activities and identify any possible victims.
Community leaders commended the Rumunduru youths for their vigilance and bravery in exposing the matter, urging other communities to remain watchful and proactive in safeguarding their environments.
The police have reiterated their call for residents to report suspicious activities, emphasizing the importance of community collaboration in ensuring peace and security across the state.
