To honor his contributions, a committee comprising APC leaders from Badagry and representatives of the Lagos State Government has been established to organize a befitting farewell.
According to a member of the burial committee who spoke on condition of anonymity, as he was not authorized to release details publicly yet, the burial arrangements were initially planned as an all-Lagos affair, with no events scheduled to hold in Badagry. Originally, the burial was scheduled for the 6th, 7th, and 8th of February 2025. However, following the intervention of some committee members and concerns over public outcry about the absence of events in Badagry—the late politician's acclaimed hometown—the program has been revised. The three-day event will now hold on the 5th, 6th, and 7th of February 2025. Below are the verified burial arrangements except for any last minute changes:

This program, subject to any last-minute adjustments, reflects the collective efforts of the party and the state to celebrate the life and legacy of a leader who dedicated his life to the progress of Badagry and Lagos State.
Pa Akinsanya Sunny Ajose, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 79, was an elder statesman and a prominent figure in Lagos State politics. He was the only representative from Badagry in the Lagos State Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) and a former Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during his tenure as Governor of Lagos State. Tinubu described him as a dedicated leader and patriot whose legacy will endure in the annals of Lagos politics.
