The station, a brainchild of business entrepreneurs from the Iworo Kingdom, is set to revolutionize the media landscape in the region, providing a platform for news, entertainment, and community engagement.
The official launch event, currently taking place in Iworo, is graced by notable dignitaries, including His Royal Majesty, Oba Oladele Kosoko, Oniworo of Iworo, Ogundeyi II, who has been appointed as the Chairman, Board of Directors of the newly established radio station.
Adding to the significance of the occasion, today also marks the inauguration of the Iworo School of Mass Communication, an institution aimed at nurturing future media professionals in the region.
The simultaneous launch of both the radio station and the mass communication school underscores a strategic effort to enhance media development and education in Badagry, fostering growth and opportunities for aspiring broadcasters and journalists.
