Layode, who also serves as the Director General of the Badagry Independent Campaign Council (ICC), led a powerful delegation of his trusted allies—Hon. Solomon Bonu Saanu, Member representing Badagry Federal Constituency I; Hon. Hodewu Suuru Avoseh, former Lagos State House of Assembly Member and ex-Commissioner, Lagos State Civil Service Commission; Barrister Emmanuel Jogbenu Kappo, Commissioner at Lagos State Audit Commission; and Chief Pot-Balogun Selan, Principal Officer at the Lagos State Ministry of Education.
Together, this political force turned the French Village event into a grand celebration that left no doubt about their influence in Badagry’s political landscape. The ICC Hall, transformed with elegant décor, dazzling lights, and strategically placed screens, provided a majestic setting for the ceremony. The classical band set the mood with melodious tunes, while the high-energy performance by gospel sensation Dare Melody added flair to the occasion.
The event was a convergence of power, drawing an array of political heavyweights, including APC State Chairman Hon. Cornelius Ojelabi, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Hon. Roberts Bibire, Commissioner for Youth and Social Development Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlede, Commissioner for Tertiary Education Hon. Tolani Sule, Member of the Federal House of Representatives Hon. Sesi Whingan, and Special Adviser to the Governor on Works Hon. Adekunle Olayinka. Also in attendance were Members of the Lagos State House of Assembly—Hon. Oluwa, Hon. Sulaimon Ageh, and Hon. Gbenga Oyerinde (Commissioner for Special Duties), along with Hon. Honyoyon Bamgbose (former MHR), Hon. Agoro, Hon.
