In a statement released by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, JAMB confirmed that the registration will now begin on Monday, February 3. The board attributed the delay to the need for crucial modifications to its registration procedures.
Additionally, JAMB disclosed that it is conducting further reviews of certain Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres after uncovering irregularities in their approval process. Some centres were found to have employed deceptive measures to meet accreditation requirements.
The board also linked the postponement to recent developments regarding the suspension of select law programmes in certain universities, as communicated by the Council for Legal Education.
JAMB acknowledged the potential inconvenience this delay may cause to candidates and stakeholders, offering its sincere apologies for the disruption.
