It was a historic moment yesterday as dignitaries, royal fathers, political leaders, and entrepreneurs gathered in Iworo, the headquarters of Olorunda Local Council Development Area, to celebrate the official commissioning of Otalenu 100.1 FM, Badagry's first radio station.  

The station, an initiative of business entrepreneurs from the Iworo Kingdom, is set to revolutionize the region's media landscape by providing a platform for news, entertainment, and community engagement.  

Among the notable figures present at the commissioning were the Executive Chairman of Olorunda LCDA, Hon. Samson Folorunso Olatunde; His Royal Majesty, Oba Oladele Kosoko, the Oniworo of Iworo; HRM Oba Olatunji Ogabi, the Oyikilu One, Onimeke of Imeke Land; HRM Oba Israel Ade Okoya; HRM Aholu Fabiyi Jimoh, the Ovitotode Sano I of Ikoga-Zebbe Kingdom; HRM Aholu Nunayon Awogbemi Travil, the Tosavi I of Aklakumo (Akarakumo) Kingdom; and HRM Agano Toniyon I of Ajara Agamathen Kingdom, among others.  

With Otalenu 100.1 FM now on air, residents of Badagry can look forward to enriched media content that amplifies local voices and promotes cultural heritage.
