Senator Idiat Oluranti Adebule, in a significant step toward resolving the prolonged power outage in Tori-Lovi, a community in the Age-Mowo area of Olorunda Local Council Development Area of Badagry, Lagos State, has facilitated the provision of a brand-new 300KVA transformer. This intervention, carried out in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Works, brings major relief to residents who have endured over two years of total darkness due to a damaged transformer.

Community leaders of Tori-lovi had earlier reached out to Senator Adebule, who represents Lagos West Senatorial District, seeking urgent intervention in restoring electricity to the area. Responding swiftly, the Senator worked through the Federal Ministry of Works to secure the transformer as part of a larger federal initiative to improve power supply in underserved communities.

The 300KVA transformer, sourced through the Federal Ministry of Works, has already been delivered to the community and is awaiting installation. The installation process is being handled by Carrell Energy Limited, the contractor responsible for the re-electrification project. The scope of their contract includes both the supply and installation of the transformer, ensuring a comprehensive restoration of power to the community.

Residents of Tori-lovi have expressed immense gratitude for Senator Adebule’s intervention, hailing her efforts as a beacon of hope in their quest for stable electricity. The prolonged blackout had significantly impacted businesses, education, and general livelihood, making the forthcoming restoration of power a transformative development for the area.
