In a daring overnight raid, suspected bandits disguised as operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) stormed White Hill Hotel on Shiroro Road in Chanchaga Local Government Area of Niger State, abducting 10 lodgers.

According to security analyst and counter-insurgency expert Zagazola Makama, intelligence sources revealed that the attack occurred at approximately 4:58 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2025.

The armed men, posing as EFCC personnel, allegedly claimed to be on an official operation. Upon gaining access to the hotel, they reportedly disabled the CCTV cameras before forcefully entering guests' rooms and abducting 10 individuals.

The Assistant Commissioner of Police, State Intelligence Department (Acpol SID), has confirmed that an investigation is underway to identify those responsible and locate the victims.

Authorities have urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity as security forces intensify efforts to uncover the circumstances surrounding the attack.
