Acting on credible intelligence, EFCC operatives, in collaboration with personnel from the 176 Guards Battalion of the Nigerian Army, stormed the premises located at Compensation Layout in Gwagwalada on Monday, March 24, 2025. A total of 133 individuals, referred to as "undergraduates" of the academy, were arrested.
Investigations revealed that Q University indoctrinated recruits through a program dubbed “Special Training for New Generation Billionaires.” Participants were brainwashed into believing that upon completing the program, they would automatically join the ranks of the ultra-wealthy.
To enroll, recruits were required to fill out an “Independent Representative Application Form” and embrace self-affirming slogans such as “I’m a Champion,” “I’m Unstoppable,” and “I’m Infinity.” The institution functioned as a pyramid scheme, where members were encouraged to recruit more individuals in exchange for unrealistic financial gains.
During the raid, EFCC operatives confiscated phones, computers, and other electronic devices used in the operation. The agency has assured that the suspects will be charged in court once investigations are concluded.
This latest crackdown underscores the EFCC’s commitment to dismantling fraudulent schemes that prey on unsuspecting Nigerians with false promises of instant wealth.
