Hon. Hassan, during his address, underscored the significance of collaboration in governance, stating that his administration, if elected, would work closely with past and present public officeholders to ensure the holistic development of Badagry. He outlined his vision to enhance local governance, improve infrastructure, and attract investments, particularly in tourism, to boost Badagry’s economy.
Highlighting the need for a united approach, Hon. Hassan pledged to champion advocacy at the state level for the completion of abandoned projects and ensure that Badagry’s developmental needs remain a priority. He assured attendees that his leadership would not be about drastic overhauls but about strategic modifications that promote inclusivity and continuity.
"As a leader, my focus is on building more leaders, not just followers," Hon. Hassan stated, appealing for their support and emphasizing his commitment to engaging all stakeholders for the betterment of the local government.
