Hon. Whingan, recognizing the gravity of the loss, dispatched a delegation to personally express his sympathies to the grieving family. The delegation, comprising prominent APC members—including Leader S.S. Pot-Balogun, Leader Avigbe (Strongman), APC Badagry Youth Leader Comrade Waliu Lanre, and Alhaji Hassan Mihode Hammed—visited the Ojelabi residence on Wednesday. They offered prayers and words of comfort to the bereaved family, reaffirming the party’s collective support during this difficult period.
In his condolence message, Hon. Whingan described Mrs. Ojelabi’s passing as an immeasurable loss, not only to her immediate family but to the entire APC community in Lagos and beyond. He prayed for divine strength and fortitude for Hon. Ojelabi and his loved ones.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with Hon. Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi and his family at this difficult time. May the soul of our dear mother, Mrs. Ebunoluwa Esther Ojelabi, rest in perfect peace," he said.
