PYF Trains Agboyi-Ketu Youths on Stress Management

At a time as this, when life expectancy gets reducing at a very fast rate, all efforts must be put on ensuring healthy living, healthy lifestyle and proper care for health of all persons. 

It is on records, several young persons this days, are recording various sicknesses and diseases and some of these are traceable to high blood pressure, which amongst others, lead to stress, stroke and other ailments. 

The Progressive Youth Frontiers, Kosofe Chapter on Sunday held a webinar to educate youths of the area in Agboyi-Ketu LCDA and across Lagos State on the import of Stress Management. 

The guest speaker, Ian Mok, from HongKong took quality time to educate the participants on the benefits of having mastery of their health to prevent all forms of breakdown of their body metabolism which could lead to stress and other unpleasant ailments. 

He taught on the types, causes and best means to avoid stress and it is better prevented than cured. 

He added that taking practical body exercises, avoiding overwork, relaxing, hanging out with friends, participating in communal activities, engaging in sporting activities amongst others are crucial for a healthy living to avoid stress. 

Mr. Gift Thompson the coordinator of PYF Kosofe and moderator of the session was glad a session like this came this time, adding that youths must ensure they manage their health seriously to avoid sudden death due to heart attack, stroke and other ailments. 

He commended Hon. Babatunde Durosimi for his support towards making the session a success.
