As Muslims across the world embark on the sacred month of Ramadan, Hon. Sesi Oluwaseun Whingan, Member of the House of Representatives for Badagry Federal Constituency, has called on the Muslim faithful to use this period to pray for Nigeria and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a goodwill message shared on his social media platforms, Whingan emphasized the significance of Ramadan as a time for atonement and divine blessings. He urged the Muslim community to seek God's intervention for national restoration and to support President Tinubu’s efforts in addressing Nigeria’s socio-economic challenges.

“The month of Ramadan is a sacred period in Islam, divinely designated for atonement and seeking blessings from our Creator. I urge all Muslim Jama’ah to use this Holy Month of Ramadan to pray for the restoration of our dear nation, Nigeria, and to supplicate for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his sincere efforts to rejuvenate our country from its current socio-economic challenges,” Whingan stated.

Extending his warm wishes to constituents in Badagry, the lawmaker concluded with a heartfelt “Ramadan Mubarak” to all observing the fast.

His message aligns with growing calls for unity and faith-driven solutions amid Nigeria’s economic and social challenges, reinforcing the importance of prayer and national cohesion during this holy period.
