In a video message posted on TikTok to Awori Muslims around the world, the revered monarch extended his warm Ramadan greetings to the sons and daughters of Awori, both in Nigeria and the diaspora, as the holy month began.
Oba Kosoko expressed his well wishes, saying, “As we all have witnessed the beginning of the holy Ramadan, may we all witness its end in good health.” He further emphasized the importance of unity within the Awori community, urging his people to come together and maintain respect for elders and leaders.
The monarch also took the opportunity to address the broader political landscape, appealing to governments to keep the promises made during their electoral campaigns. “I want to seize this opportunity to remind our governments not to forget the campaign promises made to the people of Nigeria, especially the poor and the downtrodden,” he said.
This Ramadan message is a call for reflection and action, as Oba Kosoko advocates for both spiritual growth and social responsibility, urging Nigerians to remember the less fortunate during this sacred period.
