The Nigerian Senate has suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan for six months over alleged misconduct within the legislative chamber.
The decision followed findings by the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Code of Conduct, which accused the senator of violating parliamentary rules.
Presenting the committee’s report, Chairman Senator Neda Imasuen announced that the suspension would take effect from March 6, 2025.
