A devastating accident occurred on Saturday in Agege, Lagos State, as a trailer traveling towards Abule Egba reportedly lost control and plunged off the Agege Bridge, crushing several people beneath.
Eyewitness accounts and footage shared by a social media user, identified as Babawaleakaso30, captured the immediate aftermath of the incident. He wrote in a WhatsApp group:
"This is happening live now. Agege Bridge heading towards Abule Egba — a trailer just fell from the upper bridge. Only God knows if anyone survived. What a black Saturday in Agege."
The exact number of casualties remains unclear as emergency responders are yet to provide official details.
