The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has constituted an electoral committee to oversee its primary elections ahead of the July 12 local government polls.
In a statement issued by the Lagos APC Publicity Secretary, Seye Oladejo, the party announced the appointment of former National Legal Adviser, Babatunde Ogala, as chairman of the committee, while Babarinde Nurudeen will serve as secretary.
Oladejo explained that the committee has been mandated to supervise all electoral activities related to grassroots positions across the state.
"The party considered the wealth of experience of the appointed individuals in making these selections. We are confident they will discharge their duties effectively," he said.
The APC also called on its members and stakeholders to give their full support to the committee to ensure a smooth and successful primary election process.
